Feel seen, supported and yourself again.

A calm, relational space to explore what’s happening within you.

The Felt Space - a place where your inner world can be felt, understood, and supported.

Hello, and a very warm welcome. I’m a counsellor and psychotherapist in South Queensferry and Edinburgh, working with individuals who are seeking a deeper understanding of themselves, their emotions, and the experiences that shape their lives.

My approach is rooted in psychodynamic and person-centred therapy, which means I value both the importance of your past and the depth of your present experience. I offer a space that is non-judgmental, collaborative, and attuned to the unique pace and needs of each person I work with. Therapy, as I see it, is not about fixing you, but about accompanying you in discovering more of who you are — with warmth, care, curiosity and respect.

Alongside my core training, I bring in elements from emotion-focused therapy, somatic work, and family constellations, which help us explore how emotions are held and expressed — not only in the mind, but in the body. Sometimes words aren’t enough, so I may also offer creative or experiential methods such as visualisation, drawing, or movement, when it feels right. These can open new ways of understanding what’s happening inside and around you.

I also offer walk-and-talk therapy in South Queensferry, where we work outdoors alongside gentle movement. For some people, being in nature and moving at an easy pace can support grounding, nervous system regulation, and a less intense, more embodied way of engaging with what’s present.

At the heart of my work is a deep respect for emotion, the wisdom of the body, and the complex stories we carry from our past. Whether you’re coming to therapy with something specific, or just a sense that something needs to change, we can explore that together. My hope is that by working together collaboratively, we can find a balance between making sense of the past, being with the present, and empowering new ways of being that are in line with who you are now and what matters to you.

Some of my areas of focus include anxiety, depression, trauma, life transitions and self-esteem. I have a special interest in all that concerns our bodies — including our relationships with eating, sexuality, body image, ageing, pain, and how we experience the body in times of chronic or terminal illness. I also support clients navigating grief and loss, and the emotional terrain these experiences open up.

I have experience working with LGBTQ+ clients, those exploring or living in non-traditional relationship models, and individuals engaged in BDSM or sex work. My aim is to offer a safe, affirming space where all aspects of your identity and experience are welcome.

I can offer sessions in both English and German. If you’d like to learn more about how I work or whether it might be a good fit, feel free to get in touch.
